Bridgetown International University welcomes the complete fleet of academically qualified students and it also has proficient medical practitioners all around the world. It is situated in Bridgetown, home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the capital city of Barbados, a Caribbean English-speaking island country in North America. Bridgetown International University was established in 2017. The school is the seventh medical school to start operating in Barbados, where the government has been emphasizing development of medical education as a way to diversify the economy. The first intake is expected to be 500 students from India, Sri Lanka, Ghana, South Africa and Nepal.
